I have lived on Maui since 1975, but the cost of living, housing in particular, has finally made use realize that there are other beautiful places than Maui. | February 1, 2008 : Hello! What a great site you have created. A great idea!! My wife Karen and I are in our early 30's and currently live in Owego, NY. My parents live in Phoenix and we've thought about relocating, however, my wife and her father do not like extreme heat and would be miserable in Phoenix. We currently live in a small town. After doing research on different towns in Arizona, I am so happy I found Prescott! We have found our town! I wanted to find a nice place to settle down and raise our kids (we have a 2 year old daughter and another on the way). It just seems so perfect in Prescott! Great small town (looks like a large version of our town here in NY) and the weather can't get any better! Please keep adding more videos and if you have any more information, pictures, videos etc, please email them to me. One area I'm interested in is the commercial part of Hwy 69 (mall, big retail stores, restaurants etc.). I haven't been able to find any pictures or video covering that area. We plan on relocating in late 2009 or early 2010, hopefully the housing pricess stay put for a while! Thanks again! Jon | |
